I took a freaking flight! :clap:

Just a test flight in the 420th Balkans theater. Basically I wanted to do a flight and see if I could live and land.

Airbase in site:

Closer:

Closer, holding my breath!

Touchdown, close your eyes!!:

WHEW, made it :shock:

But kept hitting B to brake as I had forgotten it is K, ended up out near the fence.

Boy am I rusty. It's been like over a year since I took a full flight.

At least you remembered to bring up your lading gear after takeoff. Unlike "AHEM" someone I know did the other day and had to land using only nose and left wheels.

happens to us all. i once dropped my gear lining up a bomb run....

and for ram....the one time i flew with him.....he smashed his tail on takeoff... :flame:

Agreed, we've all had "gear problems" at one time or another. It's a right of passage, like having the perfect line on a column of armour, only when you go to light 'em up, you realize that you forgot to flip master arm on! Shit, i remember once on the VG server i was circling a bunch of vehicles for 15 minutes complaining about how shit doesn't work the way it was supposed to when i realized that i wasn't armed. I didn't admit my mistake at that point, but i never did see that guy i was flying with again...

or remembering to turn your laser on AFTER the gbu missed....
