After heating the pipe all night, it’s still frozen solid. The plan now is to remove the pipe full height and install a new one on the interior of the building. Exposing and removal of the existing pipe is expected to take place over the weekend with the hope that the new plumbing can be installed on Monday. The bathroom should be up and running Tuesday barring any surprises. Keep your fingers (and legs) crossed!

There will be a bucket placed between Aaron and Alec’s stations that can be used in the short term for any emergencies. Please have the decency to look away when the bucket is in use. The company expects that you will both take turns cleaning the bucket after each use. Also note that there is some reading material in the immediate vicinity of the bucket for your convenience. Enjoy!

As good as the bucket solution is (you’re welcome), I would appreciate it if someone could take some time to develop a “emergency shitter protocol” for future occurrences.
